This RSF kitchen remodel is a prime example of luxury and space efficiency combined into one. Expanding the kitchen to a generous 750 square feet, we incorporated a cozy breakfast nook and a fully-equipped bar space, enhancing the heart of the home with an additional 200 square feet. The expansion seamlessly extends the kitchen by five feet into the backyard and raises the roof by two feet, inviting the outdoors in. Inspired by a dreamy La Jolla kitchen that I did that was featured in a renowned home magazine, our client sought to replicate that elegant design. The result is a bespoke culinary space that boasts a custom range hood crafted from the same exquisite Taj Mahal quartz used for the countertops. The island’s unique shape is artistically echoed in the drop ceiling above, creating a cohesive and sophisticated aesthetic. This kitchen’s transformation includes the installation of new windows and doors, top-of-the-line appliances, and custom cabinetry, offering a blend of beauty and functionality. Not to be overlooked is the additional bar area, positioned conveniently on the side opposite the island, perfect for entertaining. The project, which began in October 2015, reached completion in August 2016, culminating in a space where every detail reflects our client’s vision and our commitment to exceptional design.
