Great Room, Carmel Valley

This majestic 20-foot tall fireplace is the centerpiece of the great room in this Carmel Valley home, boasting a double-sided design with one side soaring to 20 feet and the other at a cozy 9 feet. The construction utilized eight quartz slabs, exuding modern elegance and grandeur. A custom-designed inset was created to accommodate a television, ensuring it sits flush against the grand fireplace for a sleek look. Additionally, innovative LED lighting was integrated within the structure, providing a subtle glow that accentuates the fireplace’s interior architecture. This ambitious project was successfully completed in July 2018, enhancing the room with a statement piece of functional art.
